🕯️ The Pitzer Latinx Student Union (@pzlsu) and CEC Latine Inspiring Transformation (LIT) Fellows hosted the annual Día de los Muertos Ceremony & Celebration, bringing the Claremont Colleges community together for a blessing of the ofrenda (altar) and an Aztec dance performance.

Día de los Muertos originated in Mexico and is also observed in communities throughout Latin America. The tradition honors loved ones who have passed and celebrates the memories, stories, and connections that keep them close. Though they may no longer be with us, the love and lessons they leave behind remain part of our lives.

Who are you remembering, and what is one thing about them you'll always hold close?
