60+ GIRLS. ONE BIG DREAM. A FUTURE BEYOND THE GREENS! 🇳🇬
The future of women’s golf starts with opportunity!
As part of the build-up to AACT Nigeria 2026, the Ladies’ Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN) hosted its Girls in Golf Initiative at IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja, introducing over 60 young girls to the exciting world of golf.
Led by LGAN President, Dr Lami Ahmed, the initiative goes beyond teaching a sport. It is about nurturing confidence, building character, unlocking opportunities and showing young girls that golf offers possibilities both on and off the course.
From becoming professional golfers to exploring careers across the golf industry, these girls are being introduced to a world they may never have imagined.
For LGAN, hosting Africa is important, but inspiring the next generation is a legacy worth building.
Today, they discover the game. Tomorrow, they could shape its future.
