Fashion visionary Miuccia Prada sent 63 looks down the runway for Spring/Summer 2027. All skirts. Not a single pair of trousers.

A return to conservatism? Quite the opposite.

I believe we’re witnessing a new kind of female confidence. Women are no longer interested in borrowing masculine dress codes to be taken seriously. We’re defining our own.

And women over 50? We’re not fading into the background. We’re taking up space, being seen and enjoying every minute of it.

A beautiful pencil skirt or a sweeping A-line isn’t about dressing to please anyone. It’s about dressing on our own terms.

And between us: nothing flatters a woman’s silhouette quite like a great skirt. Sorry, trousers. You simply can’t compete.
