Thank you for coming to see the show. There has been a wonderful response to this installation. A great conversation starter. I will be showing more golden works soon.

De-installed it on Monday and the space looks very naked now. All the paper has been saved for use in future projects, experiments and research.

The installation was part of a group show 'Dark Matters and Other Geographies' with @uobphotography teaching colleagues. Thank you to @photoworks for including us in the festival.

This work started as an annoyance over the amount of dog wee I had to step over on my way home from work. It evolved from dogs to humans and then some interventions from myself. Marking territory, claiming space, an act of relief and sometimes rebellion, all swirl around in the mix. The gold metallic paper creates an illusion of desire, a fake promise of abundance.
