๐ฒ๐ MANDEM MONDAYS โ SUICIDE AWARENESS ๐ง
Some content from our last Mandem Monday, where the brothers came together to have an open and honest conversation about suicide awareness and mental health.
We spoke about how we can tackle suicide, recognise the warning signs, support those who may be struggling and understand the importance of checking in on one another.
We also opened up about our own personal battles with mental health, sharing some of the darkest moments we've faced, including our own experiences with suicidal thoughts and how we've managed to navigate through those difficult times.
We shared the tools we've used to help us through those struggles and spoke about the importance of building our own mental health toolboxes. Whether that's breathwork, meditation, getting out into nature, physical activity, speaking to someone, seeking professional support or simply being around people who genuinely care. ๐ฟ๐๐ฟ
What works for one person might not work for another, but having different tools to turn to when life gets heavy can make a real difference.
Too many men are suffering in silence, carrying things that nobody knows about.
Sometimes the signs aren't obvious, and sometimes the people who seem the happiest are fighting battles we know nothing about.
That's why creating safe spaces where men feel comfortable opening up, being vulnerable and speaking without judgement is so important.
We don't always have the answers, but we can listen, show compassion, share our experiences and remind our brothers that they don't have to face their struggles alone. ๐
This is what Mandem in the Woods is about. Brotherhood, connection, healing, support and breaking the stigma around men's mental health.
๐ฌ What tools do you have in your mental health toolbox that help you through difficult times?
Let's share our experiences in the comments. You never know who might benefit from something you've shared. ๐๐ฟ
