i believe it depends on different cultures and not just someone’s individual taste. high context cultures, meaning many asian countries, are about “blending in” and not expressing outward individuality, unless in very casual situations with very close friends. so “quiet” whether it is luxury or a copy of it remains prevalent regardless of the current trends.
