the rude replies were real, but stack overflow wasn't a chat room, it was a public record. one question got one accepted answer, voted into place, and that thread sat on google for years for the next person with the same bug. a chat answer dies in that chat — the record just stops growing

In 2019 I was a top 1% contributor and Ai has taken that achievement from me 😭
