The first 20 minutes really do decide it. Hand them to your phone and you spend the whole day reacting to everybody else's agenda — I've lived that morning. Set the tone first, clear mind and a clear first move, and the day starts belonging to you. Same principle runs a portfolio: whoever sets the tone early usually wins the day.
