I can’t believe it’s been 12 years since you left this world. Not a single day goes by that I don’t think about you, miss you, or wish I could have just one more conversation with you. Everything I do in life, every sacrifice I make, every goal I chase, and every accomplishment I achieve, I do with the hope of making you and Mom proud! My biggest mission in life is to follow in your footsteps, continue what you started, and make sure your name and legacy live on forever! You were more than just a father. You were my protector, my teacher, my biggest supporter, and my role model. No matter what mistakes I made or how many times life knocked me down, you never gave up on me. I hope when you look down on me, you see that everything you taught me wasn’t for nothing. I’m still learning, still growing, and still trying every single day to become the man you raised me to be. I know I can never replace you, but I promise to keep your legacy alive through the way I live, the way I treat people, and the way I give back to others. Our family still feels you watching over us, protecting us, and guiding us through life. I truly believe you’ve been right there beside us through every blessing and every hardship. No matter how much time passes or where life takes me, I’ll always be proud to be your son. Until the day we meet again, I’ll keep working hard, making you proud, and carrying your name with honor.
