Today’s vote is dedicated to Nelda Faye Woods aka Auntie Faye. She used to take us with her to vote.🗳️
CA ballot was long and Daniel reminded me I was voting for him one last time. He’ll be able to vote next year at 18 years old.
I volunteered at my church’s voting center and learned one of the elders had organized to make that a reality. Sometimes we might vote for something that may not impact us directly but has implications for the future. Doing my big cousin civic duty for my little and middle cousins.
