Menanggapi hal itu, Executive Vice President Komunikasi Korporat dan TJSL PT PLN (Persero), Gregorius Adi Trianto, menegaskan tidak ada kenaikan tarif listrik, Selasa (3/11/2026). Menurutnya, tarif periode Oktober–Desember 2026 tetap mengikuti ketetapan Kementerian ESDM dan tidak berubah dari periode sebelumnya. Ia menjelaskan, naiknya tagihan bisa dipicu perubahan pola konsumsi, misalnya karena cuaca, suhu yang meningkat, atau bertambahnya aktivitas di rumah. Pelanggan dapat memantau pemakaian lewat aplikasi PLN Mobile, baik melalui riwayat pembelian token untuk prabayar maupun fitur SwaCam untuk pascabayar. PLN juga mengimbau pelanggan rutin memeriksa instalasi listrik dan mencabut perangkat yang tidak dipakai.
