You might expect to find a church like this somewhere in Europe, but it’s actually tucked away in a small town in Mississippi! 🤯
Built in the 1800s, St. Mary Basilica is one of the most beautiful churches we’ve visited in the U.S. From the stunning stained-glass windows to the intricate details throughout the interior, it’s hard not to be blown away by this place!
The church features beautiful Gothic Revival architecture, soaring ceilings, and incredible artwork. The best part? You can step inside and experience its beauty for yourself!
We couldn’t believe a place like this was hiding in Natchez, Mississippi! 😍

Baptized, First Communion, Confession, Confirmation and Graduated in this Church! Also buried my Mother, brother and many other family members from this Church! Beautiful Basilica!

The best Catholic Church interiors in the US look nothing like those in Europe. Both beautiful, but definitely Italy have a different look. I was call American interiors are more "graphically crisp"

Yes, this is beautiful. Just recently did a tour of shrines from Our Lady of Campion in Wisconsin, down around to Chicago, Indiana, Ohio and ended in Pittsburgh, Pa. All beautiful, but the most beautiful was St. John Cantius in Chicago! Gorgeous old Polish Church. Looks like you are in Europe! Hope you all can visit sometime.🙏🏼
