Connor Kraus

Last night marked the final time I took the stage at BarCODE Houston under the nickname “Future President.”

What started as an opportunity to speak with patrons became something much more meaningful. This experience taught me the importance of standing up for your values, finding the courage to speak openly, and using your voice to encourage and help others.

Titles and nicknames may change, but the values behind them should never change.

I’m grateful for everyone who listened, shared a conversation, challenged an idea, or made me feel welcome along the way. Sometimes the most meaningful lessons come from the most unexpected places.

Thank you, BarCODE Houston. It’s been a blessing. ❤️
