Are politics supposed to be leaders? Leaders are supposed to project confidence. Especially because to is looks like a rally, how would he energize the base by saying “we’ll he massacred tomorrow”? Secondly polls almost always underestimate republicans. I’m not going to say they will take the house or senate, but that historical trend cannot simply be ignored.
