Hey folks, since this piece has now been unveiled as one of the end pages in the new UK edition paperbacks and also as an animated wallpaper in our patreon group, I can share this here with you all at last!
I am absolutely *obsessed* with this piece of art. It was created by
@jjflorentina (Jacqueline Florencio), who is an incredible artist. Please make sure to give her a follow and check out her other work!
About Jacqueline:
Jaqueline Florencio is a Brazilian freelance illustrator. She currently works with publishing houses and fantasy/romantasy authors painting bookish illustrations and covers. Her work has also been featured in TTRPG books, such as Dungeons and Dragons. She is an introvert but is willing to discuss cats, tarot cards and The Legend of Zelda.
We asked Jacqueline about her work, and this was her response:
The thing I am most passionate about is painting light, especially natural light, and I love to find ways to make the light interact with the characters and the environment around them. For my personal work, I draw inspiration from fantasy books and games, and sometimes mysticism. I'm passionate about the tarot, and I'm still on a journey to paint all the 78 cards, or the Major Arcana at the very least.
