November 1–2, 2026 | Día de Muertos 🤍🕊️

Today, my heart is with all the beautiful souls who are no longer with us, but whose love, memories, and presence will forever live on in our hearts.

As some of you may know, Día de Muertos has always been one of my most cherished Mexican traditions. There is something so beautiful and deeply meaningful about honoring those who have passed, not with sadness alone, but with love, gratitude, and celebration. A gentle reminder that although life may end, love never does.

For the past two years, life has been moving so quickly that I haven’t had the chance to dress as a Catrina, a tradition I hold so close to my heart. But this year felt different. I knew I had to.

Exactly one year ago, I lost someone incredibly dear to me, my sweet friend Cece. He was so much more than a friend. He was my creative partner, as I lovingly called him, someone who shared in my dreams, my ideas, and so many beautiful moments of my life. Losing him left a void in my heart that words will never quite be able to describe.

So today, I dress as a Catrina in his honor, and in honor of all the loved ones I’ve had to say goodbye to. For the memories we made, the love we shared, and the beautiful ways they continue to live within me.

Because the people we love never truly leave us. They live on in the stories we tell, the memories we carry, and the little pieces of themselves they leave behind in our hearts. 🤍

To my dear Cece, this one’s for you. I miss you, I carry you with me, and I will always celebrate the beautiful light you brought into my life. 🕊️

A special thank you to the queen of all Catrinas, my big sis @lilylove213 @lilylacatrina, for once again transforming me into a beautiful Catrina through your incredible artistry and talent. You bring so much beauty and soul to this tradition, and I’m forever grateful to share it with you. I love you so much, sis. 🤍

Of course to my forever love, @kevinberruuu for always capturing me through every moment of my life and always supporting my ideas. I love you.

And thank you to @seanewyork for this absolutely gorgeous shawl, such a meaningful piece to wear for an occasion so close to my heart.

Around 100 cops, including women officers, gathered outside the Delhi Police headquarters on Monday morning to protest against the transfer of two policemen following a confrontation between police and lawyers at the Shahdara police station.

Holding placards and posters, the protesting police personnel demanded that Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Manasvi Vashistha and Shahdara Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Arun Kumar be reinstated to their previous postings.

The controversy stems from a scuffle between police and lawyers in the police station in which an advocate was injured. After lawyers called an indefinite strike, the ACP and the inspector were transferred. The lawyers then called off their protest.
