Spanish footballer Jesús de Miguel, 30, has died following a serious collision with FC Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono during a match on Monday, November 2.
De Miguel suffered cardiac arrest and was rushed to hospital but died on Tuesday, November 3. Owono was sent off, and the match was abandoned. Spanish police have opened an investigation into the incident. Tributes continue to pour in from the football community.

Pumpkin, Brie & Petit Basque "Flowers" Cheese Ball...it is such a gorgeous appetizer and perfect for Thanksgiving, actually the holidays as a whole!. Its creamy, cheesy, deeply savory, sweet & perfect. I served this for my last dinner party and it was a massive hit. Little note, you’ll have a lot of leftover pumpkin puree but trust me, it is delicious on everything.

Ingredients:
* 8 oz triple creme brie or any other soft cheese.
* 4 oz cream cheese.
* Petit Basque, Gruyere or Manchego (for the flowers).
* Edible micro marigolds.
* 2-3 rosemary sprigs (separate into 3-4 leave bushels).
* 15 oz can pumpkin puree.
* 1/4 c cane sugar.
* 1 tsp freshly grated ginger.
* 1/4-1/4 tsp cinnamon (adjust to taste).
* 1/3 cup honey
* 1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg.
* Pinch of salt.

Directions:

1. Add the pumpkin puree, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, honey, salt and nutmeg to a saucier. You want to cook at medium heat for 20-25 min, until it is fully caramelized and a deep terracotta color. Make sure you mix often so it won’t scorch. Let it cool
2. Remove the rind from the brie and whip in a food processor with the cream cheese.
3. Preheat some oil on a small pan for 2-3 min. Fry your rosemary sprigs for 10-15 sec. let cool.
4. Fold in 2-3 tbsp of the cooled pumpkin puree, but ensure it isn’t incorporated all the way.
5. Using a girolle, place the cheese in the center and make your “flowers.”
6. Pile the cheese on a small plate and gently arrange the flowers all over to make it look like a cheese ball.
7. Drizzle honey generously, arrange the flowers and rosemary.

Tonight is a reason to celebrate, but not a reason to become complacent.

Democrats are projected to take control of both the House and Senate, sending a powerful message that Americans want accountability, competent leadership, and a government that works for them.

However, winning these elections is only the beginning.

We still have enormous work ahead to rebuild trust in public health, defend scientific integrity, protect access to healthcare, restore accountability to our federal agencies, and confront the misinformation that has cost lives.

The damage wasn’t done overnight, and it won’t be repaired overnight.

Tonight, we celebrate. Tomorrow, we get back to work.

Our children’s future depends on what we do next.
