I wear a rainbow without a thread,
And paint the skies inside my head.
I dance with storms that make no sound,
And plant my stars beneath the ground.
I borrow gold from morning light,
Then hide the moon in plain daylight.
I keep a summer in my sleeve,
And make the flowers bloom when I leave.
My clouds are made of whispered dreams,
My rivers flow in crooked streams.
I spill my secrets drop by drop,
Yet not a soul can make them stop.
I have no wings, yet colors fly,
No ocean near, yet tides run high.
I leave no footprints where I've been,
But every shade remembers when.
A little chaos, dressed in grace,
A thousand worlds behind one face.
The brightest things aren't always seen,
And nothing here is what it seems.
