It's so obvious looking back. But I couldn't see it at the time.

I was CHOOSING to stay put in the Teaching career that was making me ill because I'd let society convince me that I couldn't leave because of..

🤍 the pension
🤍 the stability
🤍 the salary
🤍 the holidays

… but the cost of having this ‘safety’ and staying put, was:
- burnout
- constant stress
- no time for myself or my family
- anxiety
- lack of flexibility

So I decided to make CHANGES. Because what you're not changing, you're choosing apparently.

Small changes let to big changes and once I'd quit teaching and had a taste of the freedom and living life on my terms... I wanted to take it even further to give my family the life we really wanted.

And in Sept 2026, we packed up our home and sold everything we owned in the UK to start over in Spain and began building the life we'd been dreaming of! And honestly- we haven't looked back!

💫We have a better work-life balance.
💫More time with our kids (waaaaay more time)
💫Our family time is quality time outdoors, exploring and enjoying life
💫 We don't have to ask anyone else for time off and have complete control over our days
💫 We have the freedom and flexibility we'd been craving.

We have way less 'stuff' but are 100 times happier 🤍

So if you're reading this and feeling totally stuck in a career that makes you miserable, then just ask yourself, ‘Is this really how I’m happy living life until I retire?’

Are you choosing to stay put because it's the easier option, or are you going to start making changes that feel scary, so that you can start to live a life that's more aligned with what you really want!?
