If you're in Rio, you absolutely have to visit Prainha beach and Grumari beach! In my opinion, they're the best beaches in the entire Rio de Janeiro area. They're about a 30–45 minute drive from the south of Rio, but 100% worth the trip! There's also a famous açaí spot right on Macumba Beach that's definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend! 🙌
