It's the end of an era for us • Meet Rach, the new owner of Good Bird! 🐦☕
With 26 years in hospitality, Rach brings a wealth of experience, a genuine love of great coffee and, most importantly, a passion for people and community.

What began as a way to fund her University studies in Visual Art Education grew into a lifelong passion. From working as a barista for over 15 years, including time in Melbourne, to taking on Head Barista and Café Manager roles, Rach has developed a deep appreciation for all things hospitality.
For Rach, it's about so much more than serving great coffee. It's about getting to know people beyond their orders, creating meaningful connections and building a space where everyone feels welcome.
She's excited to build on the foundations we've created at Good Bird, bringing her own ideas, energy and vision to the space, while continuing to grow it's connection with the Maitland community.
We're so excited to see where Rach takes Good Bird and can't wait for you all to get to know her.
