Se confronter aux autres Ultims est une grande première pour Guirec, et même si l’Ultim Liamm est le plus vieux bateau de sa catégorie, Guirec sait que la Route du Rhum est une course si mythiquement imprévisible, que tous les scénarios sont possibles jusqu’au dernier mille nautique, donc il ne lâchera rien du début à la fin.
Les premières heures de course exigent un surpassement de soi de chaque instant, le mot « sieste » n’est pas prêt de s’inviter au planning.
