Today at Coors and St. Joseph’s, Rescue 17 rolled up on a car that was blocking traffic. It turns out that the driver had experienced a flat tire while heading to pick up their kid from school. Rescue 17 activated their emergency lights to protect the scene and changed the tire for the driver. Rescue 17 was able to get the tire changed and the driver on their way and safely out of traffic.
There is no job to big or too small when it comes to keeping the community safe. Great job Rescue 17! You have earned the Tuesday, Rush Hour Pit Crew award. We think you can shave a few seconds off of the time though. Maybe it’s time to start carrying impact wrenches on our Rescue companies.
