Happy Wednesday Peeps, we are halfway there , we got this 🐫🤩🤩

The first argument frames population growth and consumption as environmental pressures. Norm Macdonald's opposing satire exposes a question of hypocrisy: why are ordinary people so often told to sacrifice while the wealthiest consumers escape the same scrutiny?

Imagine a struggling family being told to eat less, consume less, and accept higher costs in the name of sustainability, while private jets, luxury yachts, and enormous resource-intensive lifestyles remain symbols of success.

Environmental limits are real, and population, consumption, technology, and resource distribution all matter. But treating human beings as disposable is not environmental responsibility. Nor should the burden of sustainability fall disproportionately on people with the least power and the smallest ecological footprints.

The debate should be about fair resource use, not deciding whose lives are worth preserving.

Why is the world's poorest family asked to shrink its existence while the wealthiest are rarely asked to shrink their excess? 🌍

I’ve been busy prepping my Jaguar Project 8 for next week’s @iconicauctioneers at the @classicmotorshownec
First job was to smarten up the front splitter, which is the first thing to get scratched if you hit a bump. Big thanks to @pinnacledetailing_ for doing a great job and renewing the PPF.
Next I decided to fit a new set of new Michelin Cup 2 tyres ahead of the sale. I ordered them via @blackcirclestyres and one tyre arrived the next day, followed by the other three the next day. Weird.
James of @crescent_tyres did the fitting as he’s super experienced on fitting tyres to daft cars like the P8 and is mobile too, so can come to you to do the fitting.
Final job was a proper detail and machine polish by Rich of @perfectionvalet who first started working on my cars 27 years ago, which is nuts. As ever, the final result is spectacular.
I’ve added a few photos with and without the studio lights, as they tend to over emphasis the purple hue (which is Audi’s Merlin purple).
That’s all the prep done, the Project 8 gets collected next week, then I go up on Thursday to do an auction preview and the sale is next Saturday.
Mixed emotions on this one but whatever happens, the #Project8 has never looked better than it does right now. 🙏✨
