I've been singing the wrong Janet Jackson lyric for 37 YEARS, and honestly, I like my version better. 😂
Janet was singing about a generation full of courage coming together.
I was singing about a generation full of thugs looking to mess with me. Apparently, I thought I was in a completely different kind of song. 💀
Somewhere along the way, my brain took a perfectly inspirational lyric and turned it into a personal security announcement.
37 years. Not once did I question it.
