I don’t think people talk enough about this kind of embarrassment.
The embarrassment of being grateful for your life, loving your family, having a roof over your head, and still feeling like there’s something missing.

At 18, I wasn’t building a career.
At 20, I gave up studying.
At 22, I got married and moved away from everything I knew.

My father had always taken care of me. Even when money wasn’t easy, he made sure I never felt we had less.
I never understood the sacrifices behind that until I became a mother.

Suddenly, I wanted to be able to give my children everything I could.

And I wanted to give something back to the people who had given me so much.

But I had no degree, no career, and no income of my own.
I wasn’t unhappy with my marriage. I wasn’t ungrateful for my life.
I just wanted to know what I was capable of building myself.
So I started looking for another way.

That’s when I discovered digital marketing.
And it wasn’t some overnight success story.
I struggled for two years. I made mistakes, questioned myself, and repeatedly wondered whether I was capable of doing this
Eventually, I stopped treating every failure as proof that I couldn’t do it.

I started learning what I was doing wrong.
In my first month of making sales, I made $760.
That money meant more to me than I can explain.

It was the first time I had tangible proof that I could learn something new and build something of my own.
I’m still building. I’m not pretending I’ve figured everything out.

But I no longer want to spend my life wondering what I might have been capable of.

If you’re a woman who feels like she’s starting later than everyone else, I want you to know that I understand that feeling.

I’m documenting what building something from zero actually looks like.

If any part of my story felt familiar to you, I’d love to hear yours.

What’s one thing you’ve felt embarrassed to admit out loud, especially when you look at where everyone else seems to be in life?

You don’t have to pretend you’ve got it all figured out here. ❤️
