I finally got a tutorial done for you guys on how I put in my overnight heatless blowout rods. Just remember, practice makes perfect, and it will take a little practice…but it’s totally worth it!

Kid spaces! I love these rooms the most. This chair by @samklemick is one of my favorite pieces. I knew that in Stevie’s space I wanted a chair made by a badass woman. I had been a fan of Sam’s for a while; I had a pile of velvet mohair samples (my favorite fabric- I feel like it’s the unlacquered brass of fabrics: it gets better with time) and I reached out to her with a photo of them and said “could we do patchwork mohair on your Bell chair ? It could look like a cobbled together bunch of samples?” And she absolutely nailed it, albeit with a lot of hand sewing 😵‍💫 it’s far too cool a chair to be in a kids’ space, but I hope it’s the kind of thing Stevie takes to her first adult apartment one day. For Stevie’s room- her request was that it match her softball team colors… I… just.. didn’t even know where to start, but we got there. On both sides of her bed are portraits of women in our family, Andy’s great great grandma. My painting of my grandma on the right, a portrait of my granny on the left.
