Birth was the most empowering thing I’ve ever done. It was peaceful. It was joyful. I felt fully supported by my team @barefoodmidwife, @ellenfisher, and of course my husband, Eric. I felt fully in my power.
This was the day everything changed. I was completely transformed! Birth truly felt like I was passing through two worlds and emerging on the other side as a wholly different creature. (Like, “did you see what I just did?!?!?!”)
And yes. I cannot wait to do it again! That’s what I want for other women. To be excited about birth! Not afraid. Not being a passive participant. Not reluctantly signing up. But pumped! Embracing this incredible opportunity!
