That’s nearly the season done. It’s surreal to be a part of this team, and through the ups and downs this year has been life changing. I’ll have more time after this weekend to really meditate on the season, but for now I want to thank everyone on this team for showing up every day and constantly striving for success. We will get there and we will do it together. Full focus on the last race, talk soon.

I look forward to coming here every year. This year I wanted to do as much as I could before the race. The past 48 hours have been filled with culture and nature, from Rissai Valley to Jiuzhaigou National Park. Riding horses, visiting a Tibetan village, and spending time with my mum has brought me so much joy. Some of what I’ve seen has been so beautiful, it’s almost indescribable.I’m heading to the to the track feeling so inspired and restored and especially grateful for everything I’ve experienced these past 2 days.

The time I spent in Jordan visiting a hospital and aid packaging facility dedicated to helping people in Gaza was life changing. When you see what’s happening on the ground, it can be so easy to feel hopeless and like there’s nothing we can do to help. I thought that feeling of hopelessness would’ve been what I took away from my visit, but it wasn’t. What resonated the most was the spirit of resilience and humanity. The spirit of the families fighting for their survival. The spirit of doctors working tirelessly to save them. The spirit of the teams from the British Red Cross, Jordan Red Crescent and the Palestine Red Crescent Societies doing everything they can to deliver aid. We would all benefit from their spirit of resilience and their determination to help those who need it.Help is possible, ending this suffering is possible, but the trickle of aid currently reaching Gaza is nowhere near enough. Humanitarian organisations must be allowed to reach the places where help is needed, and they desperately need us to use our voices, and our donations, to help them do so. If you can, join me in donating to the British Red Cross or any of the incredible charities continuing to deliver care, dignity and hope to the people in Gaza and please, do not stop talking about this. We must keep lending our voices and our attention to this crisis. We must continue to speak up for what is right.

This week I stopped by TeamLH China’s art show and got to meet the talented fans who put on these events every year. It’s incredible to see this in person and I’m honoured so many of you would come together, show your art and ultimately create something so beautiful. Thank you @teamlhchina for this and for the years of support, it means so much to me. Bringing it all to the track with me. 20 seasons as an F1 driver. It’s hard to even grasp the reality of that number. It started with a dream. A dream some called ridiculous and said would never amount to anything. Despite that, the dream never changed, and I never stopped chasing it. A dream has to be matched with action and, above all, belief. Belief that doesn’t break no matter what’s thrown in your face or what you come up against. There will always be people who doubt you, people who try to block you, but you can’t ever stop fighting.Twenty years filled with incredible highs and brutal lows, with more mistakes than I can count. But those mistakes made the journey even sweeter. You hold the power to your destiny. Everything you need to succeed is within you. You will need help along the way, like I did, but that spark, that fire, is already inside you.I’m forever grateful for the lessons, the quiet moments, the chaos, and the many people who helped me chase and achieve my dreams. I’m grateful for the doubters and for the ones who tried to knock me down, too. I’m still here, 20 years on, still standing, still hungry, still focused on the dream. No holding back.
