What begins as a strange mystery slowly transforms into one of the most disturbing existential horror films of recent times.

Long before Backrooms turned endless, artificial spaces into a cultural phenomenon, Vivarium was already exploring that same feeling of being trapped in a place that looks familiar but feels fundamentally wrong. Every street is the same. Every house is the same. There is no escape, no explanation, and no sense of reality. The result is a nightmare built entirely from monotony, isolation, and the fear of losing control over your own life.

A genuinely unsettling, deeply weird, and criminally underappreciated film that deserves far more attention than it received.
