TNHT Staff: @hausofaaron__________________Neighbors, a Miami-Dade woman is facing charges after authorities say her 8-year-old daughter was found with visible injuries from alleged abuse.__________________Naseline Timouche, 27, faces charges of aggravated child abuse with great bodily harm and child neglect after deputies made contact with her and the child on Saturday.__________________According to reports, the girl told deputies she was beaten with multiple objects, including a charging cord, frying pan, and spatula, and said her mother would wake her up in the middle of the night and hit her “for no apparent reason.”__________________She also reported being left home alone for “extended periods of time” and was told she wasn’t “allowed to eat in her residence because the food is for ‘guests.’ Therefore she can eat expired foods or food from the trash.”__________________A witness told deputies she met the child about two months ago and became concerned, later allowing the girl to stay at her home after seeing her walking alone at night on Friday.__________________Timouche was later arrested after returning home at 5 a.m. Saturday after being out all night and allegedly did not call 911 when she realized the child was missing. TNHT Staff: @fashionswarrior_________Neighbors, an updated mugshot of Karmelo Anthony has been released to the public after his sentencing.______In the new photo, Anthony is now featured with a low cut. The 19-year-old was sentenced to 35 years in prison on Tuesday after being convicted of first-degree murder in the death of Austin Metcalf. The case and trial have drawn a lot of attention, with many highlighting the racial bias of the justice system.______Anthony’s trial was fairly short after he claimed self-defense in the April 2025 incident that left Metcalf dead. During a track meet, Anthony sat under a rival school’s tent to escape the rain. Metcalf approached and asked Anthony to leave multiple times, then got physical by bushing him, according to witnesses. Anthony then went into his backpack and warned Metcalf, “Touch me and see what happens” before fatally stabbing him.______The court rejected the self-defense claim and sentenced him to 35 years. What a difference a year has made… This time last year, these borders were little more than bare soil, with some planting plans and a vision Twelve months on, the difference feels remarkable The roses have settled in and rewarded us with beautiful blooms. Things are thriving, and the garden is softening the path to the house, and for the first time it feels as though Trinity Lodge is being framed by flowers rather than simply surrounded by lawn Not everything has been a success. Some plants have flourished, others have struggled. There have been plenty of lessons along the way about what likes this spot and what would rather be elsewhere But that’s what I love most about gardening.
