12-YEAR-OLD MISSING GIRL FOUND DEAD IN FOREST
The body of 12-year-old Mercedes Carbera of Los Iros, Erin, was discovered in a forested area in Carapal, Erin, on Sunday morning, according to the Hunters Search and Rescue Team.
According to reports, shortly before midday on Saturday, Carbera's grandfather placed her in a vehicle at Lorensette North Trace, Rancho Quemado to her home at Los Iros Road, Erin.
She never arrived.
Searches were done by the TTPS and the Hunters Search and Rescue Team.
On Sunday morning, her body was found in a forested area in Carapal, Erin. Cabera was a student of the St. Francis Erin RC Primary School.
