PSA for Airbnb Guests: STOP DOING THIS!
I know you think you’re being helpful… but stripping the beds or remaking them before you check out? It’s not. 😅
As hosts, we need to know which beds were actually used so we can properly change and sanitize them. When you re-make the bed we’re left playing detective, trying to figure out if it was slept in or not.
👏🏼 LEAVE. THE. BEDS. UNMADE. 👏🏼
Trust me, your host (and their cleaning team) will thank you. 🙌
Hosts, tell me—have you ever had to launch a full-on investigation to figure out if a bed was used?
Drop your funniest (or most frustrating) story below! ⬇️😂
Is it still worth it?🤔
We’ve been Airbnb hosts for 6 years.
We launched a total of 500 Airbnb properties across the USA, UK, and Dubai and generated $30M in booking revenue.
But 6 months ago we decided to take on a new challenge & answer the most common question:
“Is it still worth it to start an Airbnb business in 2025?”
So shortly after moving to Australia at the end of last year, we started our Airbnb business there.
We have launched 3 properties in Australia and made close to $27,000 in total profit so far.
So, is it still worth it? Absolutely.
But you need to use up to date strategies.
A big “secret” of our strategy is that we don’t own any of the properties we list on Airbnb.
We rent all of them. This business model is called “rent to rent,” and it’s the same strategy all the big hotel brands use.
Essentially, we rent a property from a landlord who wants guaranteed monthly rent.
We ensure their property will be taken good care of.
And we offer to pay up to $1,000 for maintenance.
In exchange, they let us sublet their property on Airbnb.
We then furnish the property to make it look homey & cozy.
Then we list it on Airbnb and aim to make more than the monthly rent we pay.
After paying the rent and all other expenses, we’re usually left with $500–$1,500/month in profit per property, depending on the high/low season.
By doing this, we can sometimes launch properties for less than $10k.
Because all we need is the first month’s rent, security deposit, and furniture.
No big mortgage down payment.
This allowed us to scale a lot faster.
A common question we often get is…why doesn’t the landlord just do it themselves?
The truth is… They don’t know how.
Landlords aren’t Airbnb pros.
They don’t know how to run a profitable Airbnb business.
They would have to invest time and money into learning this skill.
And most landlords simply want to collect guaranteed rent on the first of every month.
This is why it’s a win/win.
This model works anywhere in the world, as we’ve proved.
If you’re interested in a free 90-minute Airbnb course, comment “TRAINING” and I’ll send it.
The moment a booking is confirmed, guests are subconsciously asking:
Am I in good hands?
Is this going to be easy?
Did I make the right choice?
Clear communication, simple instructions, and proactive reassurance answer those questions early.
When guests feel calm and taken care of before they arrive, everything else feels smoother. Even small issues.
This is guest psychology, and it’s one of the biggest levers top Airbnbs use without realising it.
It’s also exactly what we focus on in coaching. Teaching hosts how to design an experience that earns trust before the door ever opens.
Even if you never host, this is why some stays feel effortless and others feel tense from the start.
Once you notice it, you’ll never unsee it.

AIRBNB HOSTS ⚠️
I’m sure you’ve been approached by content creators of various following sizes, requesting a collaboration - but you’re feeling hesitant…
Maybe you’ve heard stories from fellow hosts of previously poor experiences with an inexperienced or unprepared creator…
or you just haven’t heard of the concept of content creation for your Airbnb listing - WELL good news!
I’m here to debunk myths, validate truths, and share my professional experiences as an Airbnb content creator PLUS a few reasons you + your listing would benefit from working with a specialty-creator like me 🤗
📌 MYTH: content creators without an influencer-like following have no value to bring to an Airbnb collaboration
❤️ TRUTH: content creators with a couple hundred followers are JUST AS VALUABLE, dare I say sometimes MORE VALUABLE, than content creators with hundreds of thousands of followers!
Airbnb creators with followings under 10k bring SO MUCH to the table, such as super impressive engagement rates and massive account reach because (spoiler alert) GREAT CONTENT can come from any size following 👏🏼
📝 MY TAKE: I worked with an Airbnb before I even had 300 followers on this account, and I was able to deliver so many great pieces of social media content that captured the Host’s vision + produced tangible results that aligned with their goals (more bookings, views/ followers/ reach/ website traction, etc)
⭐️ the same glamorous energy we see being used to advertise major Hotel chains needs to be brought to Airbnb content creation + marketing
✨ I believe there is a huge opportunity at our fingertips to use photo + video skills to tell stories that reach masses we wouldn’t be able to see face to face
Every Host has a story behind their listing, and creators like myself are here to help bring the story of your Airbnb property to life 💫
