Day hike up Mount Albert Edward, the 6th tallest peak on Vancouver Island. A physically exhausting / mentally rejuvenating experience. Well worth it for the stunning views

The feeling that I get on top of a mountain is like no other.
Just in awe, reminded how small we are, and grateful to see places like this.
This is why I hike. To always feel this, to realize the larger part of things, to see just how beautiful our world is.
Get outside, challenge yourself, be in awe, respect nature, and remind yourself to slow down and disconnect.

Mount Le Conte was so much fun!! Took a nice break at the lodge to eat some food and played some board games before heading back down. Highly recommend hiking over to Myrtle Point for 360 views and honestly the best views of the whole hike 🤩
Total moving time was a little under 6 hours, so not bad at all! The elevation was pretty gradual, but don’t let that make you think it’s easy, it’s still VERY long for a day hike, so be prepared, especially for the chilly weather at the top!
Remember to get there early or you’ll be like us and have to hike almost an extra mile to and from the car, parking fills up quick, especially at Alum Cave Trailhead!
Always remember to leave no trace, respect wildlife, and leave wherever you are better than you found it 🤗
Also friendly reminder dogs ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE GSMNP!! There are two trails, one at each visitor center where they are permitted. Be respectful of the rules so you don’t ruin it for others!!

The 2.5-3 hour drive from Fairbanks to Castner Glacier is STUNNING. 🤩 If you don’t even do the hike, just go for the drive because W O W
This hike is easy due to the fact that it’s mostly flat the entire 1ish miles there but it’s Alaska in the valley of so many peaks…so the wind is BRUTAL! It about took Levi out a few times 👀🤣
Apparently the ice cave changes every year so I’m excited to go back year after year to see new developments. The inside is incredible and a nice reprieve from the wind (the chill can be 10-20° lower than the temperature it says, so come prepared).
Check your @alltrails route for latest updates and if you’re not comfortable with the drive, contact me and I can set you up with a great tour company who will drive you & guide you to the cave with all the necessary equipment (winter clothing, first aid kits, etc) 👏🏼
10/10 day with our friends 🫶🏼🫶🏼
And thanks @woolxwool for keeping me warm in Alaska!! Visit the link in my bio for my shopping codes.
An icy climb, a heavy backpack, and a night on Mount McFarlane I’ll never forget. 🏔️ Strong winds shook our tent, and temperatures dropped to −9°C, but we woke up to the most beautiful sunrise.

Devil’s Bridge in Sedona is 100% worth the hype… BUT here’s how to do it right 👇
If you don’t want to wait in a long line just to step out on the bridge, you’ve gotta start early…And I mean really early.
✨ Get there well before sunrise
🚗 Parking fills up fast (like… fast fast)
🥾 Hit the trail in the dark with a headlamp
🌄 Catch the sunrise lighting up those red rocks
📸 And the best part… no line when you reach the bridge
By the time most people are just starting their hike, you’ll already be soaking in one of the most unreal views in Sedona! 🤩
Also, there are multiple ways to get to Devil’s Bridge 👇
🥾 Most routes are standard hiking trails with no special vehicle needed
🚙 Only one route requires a high clearance 4x4
👉 Read trail reviews on @alltrails ahead of time so you pick the route that fits your plan
I hiked via the Mescal Trailhead and it ended up being about 4.2 miles round trip with 538 ft of elevation gain. Most of that climb hits at the end… so save a little energy for that final push 😅
Trust me, this is one of those hikes where losing sleep is 100% worth it!!
Save this for your Sedona trip & send it to the friend you’re dragging out of bed for sunrise ☀️

📍 Delta Lake | Grand Tetons National Park
💌 Save this post for your next trip to Grand Teton National Park!
If there’s one hike you should do in the Grand Tetons, it’s Delta Lake. 💙 Challenging? Absolutely. Worth it? 1000%.
First things first—this isn’t a hike you can just hop out of the car and wing it. You’ll want to be prepared, so read on before heading out!
It’s a 8 mile trek with 2,300 feet of elevation gain, and that last half-mile? You’ll be scrambling up rocks on an unmaintained trail.
Starting from Lupine Meadows parking lot, I highly recommend an early start. Starting early helps you avoid those afternoon storms that can roll in unexpectedly.
The trail starts out easy but expect a steady uphill climb the rest of the way. Scott and I, as seasoned hikers, did the whole thing in 5 hours, including an hour to soak in the views at the top. If you’re not used to elevation or mountain hikes, give yourself 6-7 hours to really enjoy it.
What you’ll need:
• Sturdy hiking boots (trust me on this one).
• More than just a plastic water bottle—hydration packs are a lifesaver.
• Layers, because you’ll warm up on the trail but need to bundle up at the lake.
•Use @alltrails or OnX so you don’t miss the turnoff and can track the elevation change.
• And don’t forget bear spray—we’ve encountered several bears this year alone. Give them space, stay calm, and be prepared.
If you follow all that, you’ll be rewarded with some of the most epic blue water and jaw-dropping mountain views you can imagine. 💙
As always—leave no trace, respect other hikers and wildlife, give animals space, and listen to your body and the weather. Have any questions about Delta Lake? Drop them below!

✨Epic morning in the backcountry ✨
Can never get bored of watching Rainier, especially with these fluffy clouds, beautiful lake and sun playing hide and seek creating art on the landscape…
