#NASA #Artemis #Luna #Espacio #Exploración #Ciencia #Futuro #Impactante #Universo
大使館の独立記念日レセプションで、JAXAの古川聡宇宙飛行士は、自身が宇宙へ関心を持つきっかけとなったアポロ計画のように、アルテミス計画は次世代に夢を与えてくれるはずだと語りました🚀🌕 During the embassy’s Independence Day Reception, JAXA Astronaut Satoshi Furukawa shares his hopes that the Artemis Program will inspire others, just as the Apollo Program sparked his own interest in space 🚀🌕 #JAXA #NASA #Artemis #国際宇宙ステーション #ISS
Trump vs Musk could help China beat the US back to the Moon. Ars Technica’s Eric Berger and I unpack how the political fallout from this feud threatens the Artemis program - and America’s leadership in space. 🚀 Watch full convo at link in bio
Artemis II is NASA’s first crewed mission of the Artemis program and the first time humans will travel beyond low Earth orbit since 1972. The mission will carry four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft on a lunar flyby trajectory, traveling around the far side of the Moon before returning to Earth. The flight is expected to last approximately 10 days and will test all major systems required for human deep space exploration.
Artemis II is NASA’s first crewed mission in the Artemis program, marking a major step toward returning humans to the Moon for the first time since Apollo 17 in 1972. The mission will carry four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft, launched by the Space Launch System. Unlike Apollo missions that entered lunar orbit, Artemis II is designed as a lunar flyby, meaning the crew will travel around the Moon and return to Earth without landing. This approach allows NASA to test critical systems—life support, navigation, and communication—in deep space with astronauts on board before attempting a landing mission. The trajectory of Artemis II is carefully planned using a free-return path, which naturally brings the spacecraft back to Earth using the gravitational pull of the Moon. This provides an added layer of safety, as the spacecraft can return even if major systems fail. During the mission, astronauts will travel farther from Earth than any humans before them, experiencing deep space conditions for several days. Artemis II serves as a bridge between uncrewed testing and future missions like Artemis III, which aims to land astronauts near the lunar south pole and establish a long-term human presence beyond Earth. Watch NASA’s Artemis launch — its first rocket to the moon in 50 years 🚀🌕 NASA’s Artemis 1 achieved successful lift-off early on the morning of November 16. The rocket, which NASA says is its most powerful ever, marks the first attempted return to the moon since the Apollo program ended 50 years ago. Though this first launch is unmanned, the Artemis program has plans for several subsequent crewed missions that are scheduled for 2024, 2025, and beyond. The program’s ultimate goal is to both establish a permanent base camp on the Moon and develop the infrastructure for potential human travel to Mars. #nasa #artemis #florida #space #spaceexploration #apollo #rocket
🇧🇷 Artemis II é o 1° voo espacial tripulado do Programa Artemis. É um voo de teste para a alunagem Artemis IV, planejado para levar os humanos de volta à Lua em 2028. Para nós, é impossível não lembrar da música do NIGHTWISH em momentos solenes como este. 🇬🇧 Artemis II is the first crewed spaceflight of the Artemis Program. It is a test flight for the Artemis IV moon landing, planned to take humans back to the Moon in 2028. For us, it's impossible not to think of NIGHTWISH music during solemn moments like this. night 4 of 10 completed for the Artemis II mission 🔭🌙🚀 if you’re new here - I’m working the Artemis program by supplying ground based observations of the Orion spacecraft with my telescope to the gov to always keep “eyes” on the spacecraft as it travels out to the Moon and back I’ve had a few ppl ask if this is just my hobby or a side thing and the answer is no - this is quite literally my “day” job check out my previous vids for more info on what I’m up to for this program #astronomy #space #astro #Artemis #cosmos
The space race is on again! Humans are heading for the Moon as part of the Artemis program – a multibillion-dollar series of missions led by NASA, but with major contributions from Canada and Europe. After un-crewed test flights in 2022, the Artemis II mission is now sending four astronauts on a lunar flyby. They'll be taking a look at the far side of the Moon for geological observations and get to view areas that have never previously been seen by human eyes. #dwscience
Is this the start of the Human Space Age?😳🥳 Watch as human makes history again with Artemis program and going back to the Moon in a few years time and perhaps Mars in the next decade! 📍Artemis II NASA #space #nasa #artemis #moon #lunar
Amid ongoing delays with its Artemis II mission, NASA on Friday announced major changes to its Artemis program and plans to send astronauts to the moon.
Thank you to everyone that supported me by liking and sharing my pictures, enough to get the attention of NASA and space enthusiasts around the world. So much love for all of you. The Artemis program is bringing us back to the moon. We’ll see Astronauts walking again on its surface in our lifetime.
