All your life You were only waiting for this moment to arise 🦋 לא גדלתי על המוסיקה של הביטלס. כלומר לא יותר מכולם, בטח בישראל של שנות ה-90. הכרתי בעיקר את הגרסה של צעירי תל אביב ל imagine, ואני זוכרת שניגשתי ללמוד את המילים באנגלית כי כל כך אהבתי את המסר שייחלו לו כבר אז… (ומה נאמר היום?) אז תהיתי מאיפה הפרפור הזה בלב שנוצר לי במשך השנים סביב השירים של הביטלס? וממש עכשיו הבנתי, יחד עם ההבנה שblackbird הוא השיר האהוב עליי בעשור האחרון ולצד let it be ו here comes the sun, אלו השירים שאני שמה בסוף תרגולי היוגה שאני מעבירה (וסליחה זיו, זה מה יש ;) ) ועכשיו כשאני בהודו, ברישיקש- בירת היוגה העולמית ומיקום הימצאו של האשראם בו הביטלס שהו וכתבו אלבום שלם ב-1968, תוך שגילו את המדיטציה הטרנסצנדנטלית וכך שאבו השראה בין היתר גם לכתוב את השיר המופלא על אותה ציפור שחורה שאוספת את כנפיה השבורות ולומדת לעוף, לצמוח ורק להשתחרר. כל הנקודות התחברו לי והכל הובן היישר מהאנרגיה הקסומה והתוכן ששורר בשירים. הביטלס מתחברים לי לשקט, לשחרור ולהשראה שהיוגה נותנת לי ומשם כל פעם השירים מעבירים אותי מסע מוזמנות לספר לי מידע חשוב ופרטי טריוויה כייפים, בסוף אהיה ממש גרופית 🫶 @thebeatles למתעניינים בביקור באשראם- קחו לכן כמה שעות טובות, מחברת ובגדים קלילים. המקום רחב ויפהייפה, מטיילים בין חדרי מדיטציות, בקתות והרבה ירוק, אפשר להתיישב ולמדוט, אפשר לתרגל יוגה, אפשר סתם להסתובב. להיכנס לחדר עם הציורים, להגיע לתערוכה של הביטלס שצולמו בזמן שהותם באשראם ופשוט ליהנות. המקום לא משופץ, בעיניי זה סוד הקסם, להרגיש ולהבין איך חיו אז, יש קפיטריה ממש קטנה אז אל תבנו על לאכול שם, וכן כניסה עולה 600רופי. בעיניי, זה שווה כל רגע 💜 #וכטלעושהאתהודו #beatlesblackbird #beatles #beatlesashram

John was so angry he wrote the song Sexy Sadie (originally titled Maharishi) as a scathing diss track. ​The Legal Mess: The band had signed over rights for a documentary film at the ashram that was scrapped instantly. Between abandoned film projects, legal fees, and the sudden halt of "The Beatles" as a unified brand, historians estimate the fallout cost the equivalent of millions in today’s currency. ​The Musical Pivot: While the business side was a disaster, the "mistake" forced the band to stop touring and start writing.
