Chris Rivers, the talented son of the legendary Big Pun, in honor of Men’s Mental Health Month shared a powerful message with his latest freestyle: “Since it’s men’s mental health month and it usually feels like no one cares about how we feel, I felt it was appropriate to post this one and let anyone out there going through something know that you’re not alone, you are loved, you are good enough, and you are stronger than your circumstances. I love ya.” June is Men’s Mental Health Month, a time to raise awareness about the mental health challenges men face and promote open conversations. Men often experience unique pressures and stigmas around seeking help, leading to underreported and untreated mental health issues. This month emphasizes the importance of breaking down these barriers, encouraging men to prioritize their mental well-being, seek support, and access resources available to them. Let’s support our fathers, brothers, sons, and friends by fostering an environment where they feel comfortable discussing their mental health. 🙏❤️ #chrisrivers #bigpun #mensmentalhealth #weeklyrapgods

INSTUDIO WITH MY MAN CHRIS RIVERS THE SON OF THE LATE GREAT BIG PUN @dragonsandrivers 🕊️ The Legacy of a Giant: From Big Pun to Chris Rivers Today we take a moment to honor the memory of Christopher Lee Rios, known to the world as Big Pun. It’s been over two decades since we lost the first Latino solo artist to go Platinum, but his impact on the culture is still felt in every complex rhyme scheme and breathless flow we hear today. Pun wasn't just a "heavyweight" in name; he was a technical wizard who turned the English language into his own personal playground. From the multis in Capital Punishment to the effortless charisma of "Still Not a Player," Pun proved that lyricism and commercial success could live in the same house. 🎤🔥 🧬 The Bloodline Continues They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, but Chris Rivers is proof that the torch is being carried with elite precision. Chris hasn't just lived in his father's shadow; he’s carved out his own lane with a relentless work ethic and a pen game that is arguably one of the sharpest in the modern era. Seeing him tackle complex cadences with that same Rios fire reminds us that while Pun is gone, the lyrical DNA is very much alive and well. 🏆 Legends Never Die Rest in Power, Big Pun. (Jan 9, 1971 – Feb 7, 2000) Keep Rising, Chris Rivers. #BigPun #ChrisRivers #HipHopLegends #BronxFinest #LyricalGenius CapitalPunishment PuertoRicanPride

Chris Rivers really unlocked the formula early. If you didn’t know, this is the son of Big Pun, but he’s in a lane of his own. MCs like this that stand on the timeless principles are what let us know that the next 50 years are in good hands🏆
