Maybe if you chase God with the same intensity as you chase people, God will give you people you don’t have to chase.

It can be easy to assume that if you obey God, life should instantly start making more sense.
But now starting my 30s, I see that some of the most obedient decisions I’ve made so far, have also been the most confusing and isolating seasons of my life. The last few years of my 20s came with very painful lessons but at the same time were the MOST transformative years of my life and I’m so grateful to the Lord for it. You see, sometimes God removes the noise, the people, the comfort, and even the things we once relied on or thought we needed, so we learn how to truly depend on Him again. Now I know I’d rather be in an uncomfortable place with God than a “successful” place without Him. “For what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?” Matthew 16:26 🤍 #christian #christianliving #christianposts #summer #proverbs31woman

Rejoice for everyday is new with Christ. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV
