HITCHCOCK & HERRMANN DOCUMENTARY The studio was delighted to collaborate with renowned film-music composer and conductor, William T Stromberg, recording his music for the forthcoming documentary film “Music for Murder: Hitchcock & Herrmann and the Scores that Changed Hollywood”. An exciting, melodic, and colourful score, the music, as you would expect, pays homage to Bernard Herrmann’s composing style while remaining a wholly original work. We are thrilled to share this exclusive video of the “End Credits” cue. Tonight at @thecheckoutchicago @caseynielsenguitar 🎸 and I will be presenting a musical love story through music, storytelling and visuals. The story of George Gershwin and Kay Swift is fascinating and heartbreaking- I hope you’ll join us. These clips didn’t make the cut for the show tonight, but I found some really cool home videos and other visuals to help paint the picture. I hope folks will walk away feeling like they knew both composers personally.

Humphrey Burton - Conversations with Glenn Gould. Originally broadcast on April 19, 1966, this landmark episode of the acclaimed CBC/BBC series captures the famously reclusive pianist in extended dialogue about his deep affection for Richard Strauss. Ever original, Gould once confessed his addiction to the composer's music was "like I am to chocolate ice cream"—a playful yet genuine admission that sets the tone for this probing, witty, and utterly distinctive conversation.
