I get asked quite often how I am so comfortable traveling alone with my daughter and the answer is quite simple… I’m carrying and ready to protect my daughter and myself.
about a year and a half ago, we were traveling and we went into a gas station bathroom, where we were followed in by a man that thought I was also a child with my daughter. I was not carrying at that time,and I felt so helpless. I put my daughter in the stall, told her to lock it and called out for help while threatening the guy. Thankfully, he eventually walked out of the bathroom where others were able to help.
That is why I carry. I refuse to not let my daughter and I live our lives to the fullest because scary people exist. I just learned how to protect us from those scary people.
