#CreateLastingImpact

Rotary International President-elect Yinka Babalola just announced the Presidential Message for next year – “CREATE LASTING CHANGE!” He wants us to focus on impact and not just outcomes. He also wants our clubs and districts to look back at their history and find when they had the most impact and increase that impact from that time.
Together, we can create lasting impact!

For me a leader is someone who can inspire others to simultaneously do a certain thing in order to achieve a certain goal. For me, instead of talking about the “what” a good leader is explaining about the “why” to others and convince them to believe what he believes so all of the people in the team are connected in the same way and willing to take an action together.
But to keep in mind, before we lead anyone else, we have to be able to lead ourselves first.
On my way to becoming a great leader, I always remember these two essential things:
• To always learn.
• To work on self-improvement.
I believe by holding on to these things would take me closer to be a better leader for myself and for people around me.
What about you? What is a leader to you?

O objetivo é inspirar associados, participantes e a comunidade a promover ações coletivas que gerem impacto sustentável — local, global e pessoalmente.
