All we need this winter. @jodirobicheau #DaleOfNorway #DrivenByNature
Exactly one year ago, I started the Weekend Wanderers Community with a group hike to celebrate Earth Month. I loved that I could bring together a group of people looking to explore and learn about the outdoors and nature.
On the first hike, I had a group of 4 who made it to the hike. I remember thinking if this is too small of a group to go on a “group” hike with. I almost cancelled it, I’m glad I didn’t.
Today, we went on the same hike again to celebrate Earth month together with this lovely group of people. Learning, sharing and appreciating nature together as a community regardless of how big/small the community is - isn’t that the whole point? 💚
📌 Edgewood Park and Nature Preserve, Redwood City
🥾 Edgewood, Serpentine, Franciscan, and Baywood Glen Trail loop. 4 miles. 600ft elevation.
The hikes are open to all, most of the group are beginners. We do moderate hikes around the Bay Area. If you want to be notified when there’s the next community hike, join the mailing list by commenting “hike” on the reel.
