you know we love getting out of our comfort zone and taking up a good challenge, especially when that challenge happens in an unconventional space 🫠 this time we took over the gorgeous showroom of @alura.thebrand, a local brand we love and admire. we took out the furniture, swapped it with hundreds of meters of draping and an iconic S-shaped table. then the magic began. we took care of everything, from food & drinks planning to custom menus, handmade candles, logistics, decor and implementation. most of it was from our own arsenal, the rest from our trusted partners. hell, we even made branded dessert wafers for the tiramisu. and we made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish for the lovely guests. it was a long day. 14 hours on-site, plus many hours of planning beforehand. and we loved every fucking second of it. It is to be a participant in a community that takes culture seriously as a practice, not a backdrop. Una collezione nata da passioni familiari, cura e sguardo personale. Opere che attraversano le correnti artistiche più significative dal ‘900 a oggi, insieme a pezzi di archeologia, design, nuclei di mirabilia, artificialia e naturalia. Questo è quello con cui l’artista @irene_machetti si è confrontata per “Tenuta insieme da un filo”, il primo appuntamento del nuovo format EDIBLE COLLECTION di @miciporto con @art_diners . 5 azioni ispirate alla collezione, filo che tiene insieme identità e memorie. Un ramo di basilico, pianta cara alla collezionista, donato a ogni ospite. Un’installazione site-specific sulla tavola fatta da una rete leggera e aperta, creme spumose e lievitati per Haegue Yang, nascita e identità in trasformazione. Una lastra metallica sovrastata da polvere di liquirizia, gnocchi e fiori. Muovere i primi passi: gli ospiti hanno lasciato la loro impronta sulla lastra, come i fiori sul cemento di @alessandropiangiamore . Un maritozzo rosso fuoco, come il Concetto Spaziale di Lucio Fontana, da far esplodere in bocca. Un’ultima installazione, dove gelatine dolci delle cromie mediterranee di Salvo vengono allestite su una tavola del colore del mare. Niente di questo sarebbe stato possibile senza la fiducia di @isamuko, l’ospitalità e la tenacia di Gaia, la pazienza e le intuizioni di @dieguitobrigante , il tempo e la cura di tutti gli assistenti: @cle.ppi @colloallabismarck @vivianacapasso @valerio_schito , e la curiosità di tutti i partecipanti che ci hanno seguito in questo viaggio. That discovery stayed with me until it found its way to this table, not as nostalgia but as experience. Watching @vierigomiti transform that historical inspiration into a contemporary culinary experience was magic. Food became a doorway into the senses. But what truly shaped this edition was the group around the table. Curious, generous, dynamic minds — moving from the five senses into art, perception and perspective.”
