Sie gehören zu den vielen mutigen Belarus*innen, die sich für Demokratie und Freiheit in ihrem Land eingesetzt haben. Dafür gebührt ihnen unser aufrichtiger Dank, unsere Anerkennung und Solidarität. Wir sind erleichtert über die Freilassungen von Siarhei Tsikhanouski, Ruslan Linnik, Akikhiro Hayeuski-Hanada und allen anderen politischen Gefangenen, die in den letzten Monaten endlich freigelassen wurden. Die Folter der letzten Jahre ist ihnen anzusehen. Die Umarmungen mit ihren Liebsten haben uns zutiefst berührt. Wir fordern die Bundesregierung auf, auf EU-Ebene und transatlantisch geeignete Wege auszuloten, um die noch verbleibenden politischen Gefangenen ebenso freizubekommen. Last week, Black & Pink National staff gathered in D.C. for the Trans Visibility March, Summit, and the rally at the Reflecting Pool. For four days, we strategized, learned, healed, and held space with our trans siblings and accomplices. We built plans to protect our people and amplify our resistance. And still—while we organized for safety and dignity—the U.S. government escalated violent deportations of migrants, many of whom are trans, queer, Black, Brown, and Indigenous. These deportations are happening without due process, tearing families apart and disappearing our people. Let us be clear: deportation is a bodily autonomy issue. The state weaponizes borders and prisons to control, contain, and erase trans lives. This is the same system that denies gender-affirming care, criminalizes survival, and polices our identities. We will not stand by. We condemn these deportations and the broader carceral systems that target us. Our safety will never come from cages, borders, or bans—it comes from each other. In the face of violent separation, we remain committed to collective liberation. Wenn Poesie Widerstand ist, für den ein Staat dich verschwinden lässt: In dem Dokumentarfilm „Von Poetry bis zum gewaltsamen Verschwindenlassen“ erzählt die Menschenrechtsorganisation @hengaw_english die bewegende Geschichte von Hossein Bagheri aus Iran, der auch als „Zhakan Baran“ bekannt ist. Der kurdische Dichter und Menschenrechtler war selbst bei ebendieser Organisation als Aktivist tätig und ein engagierter Unterstützer der „Frau, Leben, Freiheit“-Bewegung, bis er vor ca. einem Jahr spurlos verschwand. Seine Kolleg:innen versuchen alles, um ihn zu finden, doch bis heute ist sein Verbleib unklar. Kritiker:innen verschwinden zu lassen, hat System in Iran. Das Regime versucht so, unliebsame Stimmen zum Schweigen zu bringen. Auch bei Zhakan wird befürchtet, dass er diesem grausamen Verbrechen zum Opfer gefallen ist. Doch die Islamische Republik hat ihr Ziel nicht erreicht: Seine Stimme und sein Kampf für Freiheit sind immer noch gegenwärtig.
