AD: Renovating on a budget with @bandq_uk    I have transformed a tired spare bedroom into the dressing room I longed for.   As any renovator knows, the funds dry up quickly and so it is important to save where you can.     This is where the B&Q GoodHome paint range ticked every box - affordable, durable and an amazing range of colours.     Their award winning durable and washable matt emulsion can be used on wood and metal too, so it made redecorating this room a really quick and easy process.  Added bonus is no cutting in for the ceiling or skirting boards!  As melamine is classed as a ‘difficult’ surface, after sanding and undercoating, I then used 2 coats of the Furniture paint range on my wardrobe and couldn’t be happier with the ease and finish of this paint.   Products:   -GoodHome Tough and Durable Matt Emulsion rated a Which? The kids’ room walls were looking a little worse for wear (stains, scuffs, and a few mystery marks I’d rather not identify) — so it was time for a refresh! We headed to our local B&Q and picked up their GoodHome paint — a perfectly curated collection of up to 80 beautiful colours that combine great quality with excellent value. We chose the shade ‘Tijuana’, a neutral mushroom shade that’s easy to apply, durable, and even washable (a life-saver for high-traffic areas and little handprints). Great quality, excellent value for money, and a beautiful finish — if you’re thinking about redecorating, I can’t recommend the GoodHome range enough! @bandq_uk - partner #GoodHome Grace’s pj’s are from @polarnopyret and the bedding is from our dear friends at @averyrowlondon.

dřevěná podlaha… ____________________________________________________________ je jedno z kontroverzních témat v oblasti bydlení. když jsme podlahu vybírali, věděli jsme, že chceme mít určitě ve všech obytných místnostech stejnou. dlouho jsme byli rozhodnutý pro vinyl, ať už kvůli pořizovací ceně nebo údržbě. taky nám dřevěnou všichni rozmlouvali, protože děti a dřevo a rejhy a díry. jenže ty díry a rejhy se udělaj i na vinylu of kors. a na dřevě jdou prej opravit (nevim, zatim jsme nezkoušeli, protože to taky zatim neni žádný drama). a pak taky. ještě před stavbou jsme si vyjeli do @castoramapolska na obhlídku a zjistili, že prodávají nádhernou třívrstvou dřevěnou podlahu za super cenu. tam to byla láska na první pohled. věděli jsme, že chceme podlahu do matna / bíla a ne takovou tu nažloutlou a ona tam fakt byla. taky jsme prvně viděli naživo XXL prkna, což je oproti klasickýmu rozměru taky sakra rozdíl (hodila jsem ty prkna pro porovnání i do videa). jo a ještě - castorama mívá čas od času akci na různý sekce (10-25% myslim), takže jsme jen čekali až přijde naše chvíle a podlaha nás vyšla na stejný peníze jako vinyl (možná i líp). toť další doporučení od nás 🤍. #goodhome#castorama
