Karzai Condemns Pakistani Airstrikes, Vows Afghans Will Defend Homeland
Kabul Reporter:🔸Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Friday condemned what he described as renewed Pakistani airstrikes on Afghan cities, saying Afghans would defend their country “with complete unity” against external aggression.
🔸In a post on X, Karzai alleged that Pakistani aircraft had “once again bombed Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia,” accusing Islamabad of continuing a pattern of cross-border military action amid escalating hostilities between the two neighbors.
🔸“The Afghans will defend their beloved homeland with complete unity in all circumstances and will respond to aggression with courage,” he wrote, framing the strikes as an attack on Afghan sovereignty.
🔸Karzai also criticized Pakistan’s internal security strategy, arguing that Islamabad could not escape its cycle of violence through cross-border bombardment. He urged Pakistan to “change its own policy” and pursue good neighborly relations based on mutual respect and civilized engagement.
🔸His remarks come as Pakistan and Taliban forces exchange air and ground attacks following days of intensifying clashes along the Durand Line, with both sides accusing the other of initiating hostilities.

#BREAKING: Pakistani Military has launched major airstrikes against Afghan Taliban in Kabul at midnight targeting Government buildings and residential areas.
“The Pakistani military regime has once again violated Afghanistan’s airspace and targeted a drug rehabilitation hospital in Kabul, resulting in the death and injury of addicts who were undergoing treatment.
We strongly condemn this crime and consider such an act to be against all accepted principles and a crime against humanity”, says Zabihullah Mujahid
IEA, Spokesman.
The deadliest attack in Kabul is a grim reminder of where we are headed as a world towards deeper instability, normalized violence, and a dangerous numbness to human suffering. When such tragedies become just another headline, it reflects not only a failure of governance and security but also a collective global silence. Innocent lives continue to be the collateral in conflicts driven by power, ideology, and unresolved tensions. If this trajectory continues, we risk building a future where fear outweighs hope, and destruction overshadows humanity. The real question is not just who is responsible but how long the world will wait before choosing accountability, dialogue, and peace over repeated devastation.
