Adult Summer Camp anyone? Hear me out… Hut to hut hiking might be the BEST way to see the world 🏔️✨ No tent. No cooking. No chores. Just hike all day and sleep in a cozy mountain hut every night. It’s hiking that’s a little boujie and I’m here for it. Here are my Top 3 Hut to Hut Hikes 👇 🥾 Alta Via 1 ~75 miles through the Dolomites in Italy I did this in 9 days. Best in July & August. Jaw-dropping scenery. Tough terrain. Some verrryyy nice huts (some include bath robes!) Highlights: starting at the stunning Lago di Braies, descending through WWI tunnels + the barrel sauna at Lagazuoi (yes, a sauna… high in the mountains). Note: This is not a beginner friendly hike, it’s quite challenging! ‼️ Link in b!o for my AV1 digital guide. 🥐 Tour du Mont Blanc ~105 mile circuit through France, Italy & Switzerland Best in July & August. Big elevation gain, but you don’t need to be an expert, you just need to train. This hike is what DREAMS are made of. Frequent pastry stops and a spa day. Enough said. ‼️ Link in b!o for my TMB digital guide ⛰️ Everest Base Camp ~80 miles out-and-back in Nepal Best in March/April and October/November. One of my all-time favorites. About 12 days round trip. High altitude, culturally rich, and there is truly nothing like standing in the Himalayas. The song that plays in my head when I’m about to accomplish something really amazing (and realizing I’m more capable than I thought!) Last July I did my first Via Ferrata on a mountain I had dreamed of climbing for over a year 🥾What is a ‘Via Ferrata’ ? - translated means “Iron Path” and there are courses all over the world where you wear a helmet & harness and “clip and un clip” your way so an added level of safety. They typically exist on more exposed/steep areas like Mount Triglav 🇸🇮 (in the video) 🇸🇮This trip was so transformative for me, so this summer I’ll be hosting a group hike, hut-to-hut through the Julian Alps and taking the Mount Triglav together with professional guides, proper gear, and full support the entire time. What Experience is required for this trip?: You don’t need to have any via ferrata experience for this trip, you just need to be okay with heights and be comfortable hiking and being in the mountains day after day.. and since we will have all the gear and guides included in the trip.. it is the perfect opportunity to take on the new experience!
