I used some of my favorite old clips in this video - moments where I remember being happy and content but the truth is most of the time I was in leggings doing housekeeping 😅there were times I enjoyed that too, but it’s time for me to move on. I want to spend time with myself, with the people that are important to me, and have a healthy routine. I hope you stick with me as I transition to this new chapter in life. I never actually dreamed of being an innkeeper. As I was about to graduate college in 2021 I started interviewing for corporate jobs, but deep down knew that wasn’t the right path. I decided that I would give myself the summer to work hard and save money, but not put pressure on myself to immediately jump into a career. I moved to my favorite tourist destination to work seasonally and when I decided I wanted it to be my permanent home I began looking for year round jobs. The innkeeper position stuck out to me in a newspaper ad and I’ve been here for over two years!
