Hey! Today I want to show you a very cool KISS release from my collection: Destroyer Resurrected! 🔥📀 Released on August 21, 2012, this edition brought Destroyer back in a very special way. It was newly remixed from the original tapes by Bob Ezrin, which already makes it a very interesting release for any fan of this album. ✨🤘  My copy is the German version, on Mercury / Casablanca – 06025 371 38401. Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Reissue, Remixed Country: Germany, Austria & Switzerland And yes… this is 180gr heavyweight vinyl! ⚡️  This release also features unreleased photos and a new essay by Bob Ezrin, which makes it even cooler for collectors. 📚🔥  And one of the best details here is the cover art by Ken Kelly. This was actually the artwork that was meant to be the original Destroyer cover, but in the end they felt it was too aggressive, so they went with the blue version we all know. A very cool detail is that the band is still wearing the Alive! era costumes in this artwork. 🎨💥  Beautiful release and a great one to have in the collection!! Next Week THE ORIGINALS! Today we’re spinning Strutter straight from a very special record in my collection: KISS Alive!, a 1980 German pressing! 🤘🔥 I have a few other KISS records in my collection with the German KISS logo, but this one is extra special because it was actually made in Germany — or West Germany, as it was called back then. This copy is over 40 years old and still in very nice condition. And the sound? It’s great! 🎶 Alive! was the turning point in KISS’ career. In 1975, the band risked everything by recording a double live album, hoping to finally break through — and it worked. Less than a year later, KISS returned to Detroit, where Alive! had been recorded, to play three sold-out nights at Cobo Hall and receive their gold record. ⚡ I really love this record, and this pressing is something special. Um detalhe deixa esse item ainda mais curioso: o local e a data impressos no disco não estão realmente corretos. O show é, na verdade, de 24 de abril de 1988, durante a Crazy Nights Tour. E a capa traz Peter Criss e Ace Frehley, mesmo que essa turnê tenha sido com Bruce Kulick e Eric Carr. Esse é um dos detalhes que tornam os bootlegs tão interessantes.
