Kopi Kamu, a café in Jakarta, is winning hearts by hiring people with Down syndrome. In partnership with POTADS, the café gives special training to help these employees learn barista skills, build confidence, and work independently. This thoughtful step has created a warm and inclusive space where everyone feels valued. Share this so we can spread kindness 🥰 This Tokyo cafe gives people living with dementia a chance to work again and feel included. Here, mistakes are normal, kindness is expected, and everyone learns to be patient. The servers volunteer with support and get to use skills they thought they had lost. It helps them stay social, confident, and connected to the community. And honestly, more places like this should exist around the world. A simple idea that gives dignity, purpose, and joy back to people who really deserve it. You might get the “wrong” order, but you will leave with the right feeling. 📍 OrangeDay Sengawa Opens once a month [japan, tokyo, dementiaawareness, mistakenorderscafe, inclusivetravel, socialgood, offbeatjapan, uniquejapan, sengawa, japantravel, meaningfultravel, humanstories, communitycare, supportdementia, traveljapan, tokyofood]
